The movie “Jailer,” starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, has been experiencing remarkable success at the box office for a span exceeding two weeks. As it entered its third week on August 24th, the film continued to dominate screens, both within Tamil Nadu and overall, even amidst the release of new films.
As of the end of the 15th day, the latest report on the movie’s box office earnings indicates that “Jailer,” featuring Rajinikanth, has amassed a reported worldwide gross of over 540 crore rupees. There’s a strong expectation that it will surpass the 550 crore mark before concluding its third week.
Within Tamil Nadu alone, “Jailer” is reputed to have garnered a gross of more than 140 crore rupees, solidifying its position as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films within the state. On a national level, the movie’s collections are estimated at around 302 crore rupees, having already broken several records at the box office. Despite experiencing lower occupancy on weekdays, the action-packed drama “Jailer” is projected to perform exceptionally well during the upcoming weekend.

However, the anticipation remains as to whether “Jailer” will etch its name in Tamil Nadu’s history by securing the title of the highest-grossing film in the state.
The directorial responsibilities for “Jailer” are attributed to Nelson, with Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film also boasts notable contributions from Vinayakan, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Mirna, and Redin Kingsley in pivotal roles. The musical score was crafted by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography was skillfully executed by Vijay Kartik Kannan.
