The 2022 ESPYS presented by Capital One will highlight the top players, moments and games in the game.

This year, the 29th edition of ESPY will be full of stars – including host, defending NBA champion and Finals MVP Stephen Curry.

Curry joined the list of athletes who went on to present the opening monologue, trophies, and host for one of the biggest awards shows in the sport.

With the four-time WNBA champion, two-time FIFA World Cup winner and Super Bowl champion coming together, the first trio to co-host ESPY had a lot of hardware.

Danica Patrick – 2018

The former professional race car driver found herself in the driver’s seat as the first woman to host an award show.

Peyton Manning – 2017

A year after being presented the Icon Award, the two-time Super Bowl champion returned to the ESPYs stage as host.

John Cena – 2016

Before handing out trophies as the 2016 ESPYS host, the WWE Superstar described the show as “three hours of everything.”

Cena said, “I admire the show, because it’s a show where you can celebrate achievement, you can laugh, and at the same time you can be emotionally driven … Makes you think.” “This is one of the very rare programs in which all are combined under one roof.”

As a 22-year-old star for the Cleveland Cavaliers, she co-hosted the event with late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

Lance Armstrong – 2006

The former cyclist became the first athlete to serve as host at the 14th annual ESPY Awards.
