On August 25, which marked the 15th day since its release, the movie “OMG 2” contributed a mere Rs 1 crore to its overall earnings. The movie’s current momentum is being observed in the context of the release of “Dream Girl” on the same day.

This year’s much-anticipated film, “Oh My God 2,” starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, carries forward the storyline from the 2012 blockbuster, in which Paresh Rawal also played a prominent role.

On August 25, which was the 15th day since its release, the film garnered a modest collection of Rs 1.80 crore nett in India, marking its lowest earnings thus far. As a result, the cumulative box office revenue for “OMG 2” has now reached Rs 128.22 crore. Furthermore, on August 25, the film achieved an occupancy rate of 23.53 percent.

Directed by Amit Rai, the film depicts Akshay Kumar in the portrayal of Lord Shiva. The cast of “OMG 2” also features Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Arun Govil, who gained fame for his role in Ramayan. This satirical comedy-drama serves as a sequel to the 2012 hit “OMG- Oh My God!” The movie is produced by Cape of Good Films, in association with Ashwin Varde, Vipul D Shah, and Rajesh Bahl.
