After months of speculations and leaks, Apple has officially announced the iPhone 15 launch event. The company stated that the upcoming next-generation iPhone 15 smartphones will be unveiled on September 12. In India, the event’s timing is set for 10:30 PM IST.
The rumors surrounding this year’s iPhones indicate significant upgrades in various aspects; however, the physical design might remain largely unchanged. According to leaks, Apple might increase the prices of the iPhone 15 Pro models considerably, while keeping the standard and Plus versions available at their existing prices. More information on this matter is expected to be revealed in the coming days. The pricing strategy that Apple adopts for its 2023 iPhones is of particular interest.
In addition to smartphone announcements, the upcoming iPhone 15 event is expected to cover other product introductions. Apple is likely to showcase a new iteration of the Apple Watch Series 9, serving as the successor to the current Series 8. An updated version of the Apple Watch Ultra is also on the horizon, featuring enhancements such as an upgraded S9 processor – a feature also planned for the Apple Watch Series 9 – and the incorporation of new components made using 3D printing technology.
Reports suggest that Apple is preparing to launch three new devices powered by an M3 processor. These could include an iMac, a 13-inch MacBook Air, and a 13-inch MacBook Pro. These devices are anticipated to deliver improved performance compared to the previous year’s models.
